About Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie

Geographic reach: Morocco, North Africa, Africa, Middle East, International

Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie (FMP) is the national professional federation representing Morocco’s plastics industry across the entire value chain, from raw materials and transformation to downstream applications in packaging, construction, automotive, and consumer goods. Established to serve as the unified voice of the sector, FMP acts as a corporate body for plastics manufacturers and converters, defending their interests with public authorities, regulators, and international partners, while promoting responsible, competitive, and innovative plasturgy in Morocco.

From its headquarters in Casablanca’s Ain Sebâa industrial zone, the federation provides members with access to sector intelligence, legislative and regulatory documents, and practical resources on standards, safety, and environmental issues. It coordinates consultation on policy reforms, supports export development, and facilitates networking between Moroccan operators and global suppliers and buyers.

FMP’s website serves as a central hub where companies can follow industry news, events, and agendas, and obtain guidance on technical and market developments. A distinctive part of FMP’s value proposition is its role as an event organizer for the plastics and packaging ecosystem.

The federation initiates and co‑organizes major trade fairs and forums such as PLASTEXPO, PACK EXPO, and scientific congresses like PLASTURGIA ICP, which bring together producers, technology providers, brand owners, and institutional stakeholders from Morocco, MENA, Africa, and beyond. Through these platforms, FMP helps exhibitors generate new business, showcase innovations (including greener materials and processes), and build partnerships, while offering visitors a comprehensive view of market trends and investment opportunities.

By combining advocacy, technical support, and high‑impact events, Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie has become a central catalyst for the modernization and sustainable growth of the Moroccan plastics and packaging industries, positioning the country as a regional hub for plasturgy and related transformation sectors.
